Job Description:

Under the leadership of the department Director, Assistant Directors, and/or Pharmacy Supervisors, the Clinical Pharmacist is responsible and accountable for planning, directing, assessing and providing pharmaceutical care according to the policies and procedures of the hospital and department. Important dimensions of this position consist of quality of care, professional commitment, teamwork, interpersonal skills, safety, customer service, fiscal responsibility, and a broad scope of pharmacy knowledge. This role requires ongoing professional development, including attending continuing education conferences, remaining up to date in pharmacy literature, and presenting patient cases or doing medication reviews.
