About the Role

As a psychologist you will play a valuable role in the multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities range from assessment—including neuropsychological assessments, psychological testing and treatment—to providing individual psychotherapy for whaiora/whanau. You will also support the team through supervision and teaching.

About the Team / Service / Location

The MHSOP team is multidisciplinary and currently includes 3 psycho‑geriatricians, 1 full‑time and 1 part‑time clinical psychologist, mental‑health nurses, social workers, occupational therapists and cultural support. The team has a strong focus on community care but also has access to four beds within the acute inpatient area.
