Clinical Specialist Sonographer, ENT Ultrasound (B8A or B7 Trainee)

Role Overview

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) NHS Trust is looking for a Clinical Specialist Sonographer to provide Head and Neck (ENT) and Maxillofacial Ultrasound within a consultant‑led imaging service.

Role responsibilities include independent ultrasound scanning, reporting, and ultrasound‑guided interventional procedures such as fine needle aspiration (FNA). The post holder will support cancer pathways, including Two Week Wait (TWW) and the 28‑day Faster Diagnosis Standard, and contribute to multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality Head and Neck ultrasound service, including independent scanning, reporting, and FNA procedures.
