Overview
Works under the supervision of Care Manager (RN or PT) to provide personal care, comfort measures and environmental services for patients (including those needing special precautions) and performs specified treatments. In addition, this position must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and provide the care needed as described according to the departmental policy and procedure.
