C.N.A. - Telemetry 5 Tower - Full Time 12 Hours Nights (7:00PM to 7:30AM) (Union, Non-Exempt)

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Accountable to the licensed nurses, Charge Nurse, Nurse Manager and/or Orthopedic Service Line Director.

+ Demonstrates and promotes compliance to infection control, legal, and safety standards.

+ Displays professional commitment and supports the unit team by promoting unity and teamwork among coworkers by maintaining a positive attitude and positive working relationships.

+ Organizes and prioritizes care considering patient needs and preferences, module activities, and other commitments.

+ Performs basic patient care activities in a timely manner according to hospital policy and procedures including taking vital signs, assisting with meals, enemas, catheter care, hygiene measures, positioning/moving patients, specimen collection, application of restraints and treatments/tasks.
