Job Description
A recognised high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their Engineering department with the appointment of a CNC Engineer. As CNC Engineer, you will have a proven track record and experience in machining aluminium diecast components on high speed 5 axis machines. Working from their manufacturing facility, the CNC Engineer will be responsible for: Support production on a daily basis. Competent in running CNCs and all aspects of the machine performance, fault finding and diagnostics. Maintain hydraulic fixture operation, clamping repeatability and machining position to casting. Change tools, track tool life, investigate tool breakages. Monitor part quality, adjust offsets and improve process capability. Develop and maintain process documentation as well as assist in the generation of SWIs.
