CNC Estimator

MTrecs new career opportunity Our client are specialists in their industry sector, they are now looking to recruit a CNC Estimator on a permanent basis. The Job youll do This is a full-time, on-site CNC Estimator role based in a busy manufacturing site in Newcastle. The CNC Estimator will review engineering drawings, specifications, and 3D models to prepare accurate cost estimates for CNC turning, CNC milling, and wire EDM projects. This role involves selecting appropriate materials and processes, calculating machining times, tooling requirements, and subcontract costs, and preparing detailed quotations for customers. The CNC Estimator will liaise closely with engineering, production, and sales teams to confirm technical feasibility, optimize manufacturing methods, and ensure estimates align with capacity and lead times.
