Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC mills, or multi-axis machines Interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications Load and edit CNC programs using G-code and CAM software Select tooling, fixtures, feeds, and speeds for optimal machining performance Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and production issues to minimize downtime Maintain tight tolerances and high-quality surface finishes Monitor production runs and adjust machine offsets as needed Train and mentor junior machinists and machine operators Collaborate with engineering and quality teams on process improvements Perform preventive maintenance and maintain clean, safe work areas Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards Document setups, inspections, and production data accurately ...
