Cnc machinist

Minimum Requirements Qualified Artisan in one of the following: Fitting & Turning Tool, Jig & Die Making Millwright 5–10 years’ CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment Extensive practical experience in CNC turning (non-negotiable) CNC milling experience advantageous Proficiency in Mastercam and/or Edgecam Strong machine setup and programming capability Ability to optimise machining processes, feeds, and speeds Strong understanding of engineering drawings and precision tolerances Experience with machine troubleshooting and process improvement Exposure to plastic manufacturing / moulding / 3 D machining advantageous Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Own reliable transport Key Responsibilities Program, set up, and operate CNC turning machines Perform precision machining to strict engineering tolerances Optimise machine performance, tooling selection, and cycle times Interpret technical drawings and machining specifications accurately Conduct machine se...
