Key Responsibilities
- Machine Setup & Operation: Perform complex setups and operate CNC mills and lathes (including multi-axis machining centers) to manufacture precision components from various raw materials.
- Blueprint & GD&T Interpretation: Read and accurately interpret detailed engineering drawings, blueprints, and process sheets. Apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) to align and square parts.
- Programming & Editing: Load, retrieve, and edit CNC programs (G-code/M-code), optimizing speeds, feeds, and tool depths to maximize efficiency and tool life.
- Tooling & Fixturing: Select, install, and align the correct cutting tools, attachments, jigs, and fixtures required for each specific job order.
