Commis Chef | Luxury Resort Kitchen & Growth Path

Location : RockliffeHall, Darlington

Salary : £25,000 to £27,352 per annum

Hours : Fulltime-40 hours per week, including weekends

Reporting to : Senior Chef, Sous Chef and Chef de Partie

Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Commis Chef to join the Chef Team and ensure all food is cooked and presented to a high-quality standard and that your allocated section operates in a safe, hygienic and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand the gross profit targets within the kitchen and aim to achieve them through portion and wastage control
• Be able to take receipt of deliveries in the absence of a senior chef and adhere to stock rotation procedures
• Be able to work as a team member and communicate effectively at all levels
• Willingly attend job chats with senior team members
