Designs, implements, and administers commodity acquisition strategy. Includes procurement support, commodity business plans, market trends assessment, pricing, and product availability. Develops negotiation strategies to create a win-win relationship between the company and suppliers. Assists in identifying new, high-potential suppliers. Interacts daily with peers and customers (typically internal) to exchange or present factual information. Builds stable working relationships internally. Works on issues of limited scope.
