Communications Specialist
Reports to: Editor FLSA State: Full-time, Non-exempt
The Catholic Week, the official publication of the Archdiocese of Mobile, is seeking a full-time Communications Specialist. The staff of The Catholic Week supports the evangelization efforts of the Archdiocese of Mobile through a biweekly newspaper, e-newsletter and digital media outreach.
The Communications Specialist assists with advertising coordination for The Catholic Week while also supporting the archdiocese's social and digital communications efforts through photography, video and multimedia content creation. This is an hourly, nonexempt position with benefits.
Essential duties
Helps coordinate social and digital media efforts.
Organizes and produces The Catholic Week Digest, the online newsletter of The Catholic Week.
