INCUMBENT: Summary: Under general direction this single‐position class performs responsible and technical duties related to the installation, repair, testing, monitoring and maintenance of communication systems and software throughout District facilities.
Class Characteristics
Communications Technician1 is the entry‐level class in this series.
Under general supervision, incumbents perform all tasks related to the operation, maintenance and testing of District's Central and Remote Telemetry Units including the main server, raw water, water treatment plants, water distribution systems, sewer collection systems and wastewater treatment facilities and associated equipment and facilities.
