Job Description

TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES
Recruits school drop-outs, potential drop-outs and students identified as homeless, in collaboration with school attendance personnel, to encourage class attendance and school attendance; assists school personnel in identifying students who are experiencing homelessness assists in the enrollment and obtaining of records necessary for school registration 
·Recruits out-of school youth and adults to encourage participation in the programs offered by the Adult Education Division such as Career Development, Literacy Life Skills, etc.
Plans motivational and developmental programs for students and provides resource information for program participants including students, parents/guardians, teachers and the community and school personnel;
Participates in orientation programs and intake of students by obtaining student information
