At SPCA, we believe the best animal welfare outcomes start with strong communities. By building trusted relationships, supporting local initiatives and improving access to animal welfare services, we can help people and their animals before issues become crises.

That's why we're looking for a Programme Lead – Community Engagement to lead the delivery of initiatives that connect communities with the support, education and resources they need to improve animal welfare. This could include school visits, community drop-ins, microchipping and vaccination drives, education sessions, community events, and connecting people with animal welfare support. From small local initiatives through to coordinated national programmes, this work helps create better outcomes for animals, their owners, and communities across New Zealand
