Job Function

As a Buyer, you will be expected to improve profitability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction through the execution of strategic procurement activities in the Purchase of raw materials.

Disciplines and Accountabilities

• Responsible for purchasing of raw materials.
• ERP and Inventory data management
• Actively communicate with the production and planning departments and analyze vendor performance trends to make accurate projections and avoid backorders or overstock
• Notify to management of any risk of supply chain
• KPI's oriented (OTD, Material shortages, Past Due Orders, etc.)
• Improve existing relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to meet current and future demand
• Maintains standard operating procedures (SOP) in the purchasing department
• Monitor and follow up on Virtual Pedimento and USMCA process for purchasing
