**About this Opportunity**

**This position is on San Juan Island** , 100 miles north of the Seattle area. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Computer Support Technician 2 is responsible for providing technical support in the day-to-day operations of computer equipment, platforms, and tools used by employees, students, and visitors at a world-renowned marine education and research station.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Provide proactive IT support (50%)
+ Assist staff, faculty, students, and visitors with using and troubleshooting common IT equipment, tools, platforms and products;
+ Provide hands-on and written guidance for staff, faculty, students, and visiting groups on audio/visual communication tools such as Zoom room, microphones, ...
