Concentrating Plant Attendant

Location: Ishpeming, MI


Cleveland-Cliffs has immediate openings for Concentrating Plant Attendants at our Tilden Mine operation located in Ishpeming, Michigan. This position provides support for the concentrating process.


Summary of Responsibilities
+ Perform daily inspections on plant equipment
+ Attend to plant equipment in the grinding, crushing, concentrating, dewatering and other areas as required
+ Perform plant clean-up duties such as hosing floors and shoveling
+ Operate small equipment (i.e. loaders, forklifts, etc.)
+ Other duties as assigned



Minimum Qualifications
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent required
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
+ Have the ability to read, understand and follow safety information, operating instructions and procedure manuals
+ Excellent safety record and genuine concern for safety in the workplace
+ Excellent attendance record
