Introduction
The conserves and manages Delaware’s fish and wildlife and their habitats, and provides fishing, hunting, wildlife viewing and boating access on nearly 65,000 acres of public land.
Summary Statement
This position within the Wildlife/Fisheries Construction Team will perform major construction and maintenance projects on state wildlife areas, state fisheries ponds and public boat ramps located throughout the state. Operates heavy and specialized construction equipment including dump trucks, tractor trailers, bulldozers, excavators, backhoes, air boats, and weed/algae harvesters in the safest and most cost-effective manner; builds, repairs, and maintains dikes.Career Ladder
