Construction Estimator

An Estimator for CJM Construction, Inc. is responsible performing pre-construction estimating service as required to negotiate contract using owner required contract delivery systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepares detailed estimates for all design stages: Conceptual, Schematic Design, Design
• Development, and Construction Documents.
• As lead estimator, manages the estimating team in the assembly and submission of bids to clients.
• Analyzes drawings and specifications to determine estimated costs.
• Develops bid packages including, but not limited to, front end documents, scopes of work, bid breakdown forms, site logistics, project schedule, etc. with input from operations.
• Manages the estimating team in the solicitation of bids to subcontractors and material suppliers.
