Job Description
This role supports industrial and commercial construction projects by performing field testing, inspection, and documentation of concrete, soils, foundations, and related materials. The position is primarily field-based, often independently, ensuring that construction materials meet project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform field testing and inspections on construction sites
Test concrete (slump, air, temperature, strength) following ACI standards
Test soil compaction and moisture using a nuclear gauge
Observe foundations, earthwork, and fill placement to ensure compliance
Write clear reports with test results and observations
Communicate findings to engineers and project managers
