The Construction Health and Safety Advisor will support the National Health and Safety Manager by actively participating in the planning, organizing, and implementation of diverse health and safety initiatives to reinforce Northland’s health and safety program while performing multiple tasks that improve team members’ health & safety. Your key duties will include:

• Lead and participate in site inspections and FLHA's (Field Level Hazard Assessments) to ensure team members’ consistent use of essential safety equipment and to identify and address any hazards associated with equipment, materials, and production processes.
• Audit and investigate health and safety complaints, concerns, incidents, and accidents.
• Initiate enforcement procedures on‑site for violations of Company Safety and Procedures policies and government health and safety standards and regulations.
