About the Role
We are seeking a specialist to join our Department of Medicine, currently providing General Internal Medical inpatient and outpatient services plus a range of sub‑specialty services to the population of the Wairarapa region. An interest in respiratory medicine would be an advantage.
Permanent full‑time position working 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE) with the on‑call requirement of 1.7.
About the Team/Service
You will have a strong commitment to comprehensive care encompassed within General Internal Medicine, including full involvement in the acute roster for admission and ongoing care of undifferentiated acute adult hospital presentations. The opportunity to develop a more specialist interest in a sub‑specialty of General Medicine would be encouraged.
