About the Role

This role is to provide care to patients with a focus on Medical Retinal Ophthalmology. Consultant ophthalmologist services are delivered in both OPD clinic and theatre settings. The role includes a large component of teaching and supporting nurses and allied health staff, supervision and training of RMOs, and active participation in clinical meetings and quality improvement activities.

Specific Services Will Include

• Cataract Surgery and Medical Retinal clinic sessions.
• Participation in relevant service and clinical meetings related to the service.
