Based in Whangārei, Northland, this permanent full or part‑time position offers the opportunity to work across a diverse population and a broad range of acute medicine specialties.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Physician to provide Respiratory Services within Northland. The role encompasses acute inpatient respiratory consults and procedures, along with elective respiratory services such as outpatient clinics and bronchoscopy (both flexible bronchoscopy and linear EBUS). While the primary focus of the role is respiratory medicine, there are also opportunities to participate in general medicine ward rounds on a regular basis, depending on your experience and interest.

Our Respiratory team comprises SMOs, a Nurse Practitioner, and Clinical Nurse Specialists, with additional support from the General Medicine team on the acute wards.
