Consulting Associate- Contaminated Land and Remediation (Entry Level)

Overview

ERM is looking for a motivated, hands‑on Contaminated Land & Remediation Consulting Associate to join our Site Investigation and Remediation team in the UK. The role involves field and office work across the region, with increasing responsibility for task and project management duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise contractors and undertake routine monitoring during site investigations.
• Conduct regular field work: walkovers, logging soils, soil and groundwater sampling, supervising and managing contractors on site.
• Provide office support: data analysis, manipulation and presentation, reporting.
• Produce environmental desk studies, site investigation and verification reports from office and site-based work.
• Assist in fee proposal preparation for future work.
• Receive training to develop skills in managing small to medium projects, including financial management.
