Continious Casting Machine Fitter (CCM) Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on Continuous Casting Machines (CCM).
• Conduct preventative and scheduled maintenance on casting equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and repair CCM components including:
  • Oscillation tables
  • Withdrawal units
  • Straightening units
  • Segment rollers
  • Roller aprons
  • Guide systems
  • Hydraulic systems
  • Lubrication systems
• Replace bearings, shafts, gearboxes, rollers, couplings, chains, and drives.
• Perform alignment and precision fitting of mechanical equipment.
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems associated with CCM operations.
• Conduct inspections and condition monitoring of equipment.
