Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the Quantity Surveyor (QS) team by setting clear goals, tracking performance, and inspiring members to achieve strong results
- Oversee project financial performance by managing contracts and cost control processes to meet budget targets and maximize profitability
- Design, implement, and continuously improve systems for QS functions, contract administration, and cost management to enhance operational efficiency
- Evaluate and interpret project cost data, including inter-project and inter-company charges, to support effective resource planning and decision-making
- Address and resolve contractual and financial issues by coordinating closely with QS teams, project stakeholders, clients, and subcontractors
- Take full accountability for project cost control and contract settlements, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and minimizing risk exposure
