Purpose
Philadelphia Gear part of the Timken Power Systems group in Santa Fe Springs, CA has a current opening for a Controller position. This position is responsible for the accuracy and integrity of all financial information for the Philadelphia Gear (PG) Western Gear Region – Santa Fe Springs manufacturing location. As a critical member of the plant’s management team, the Plant Controller drives the financial performance of the plant, ensures a strong internal control environment, and applies economic rigor to decision‑making. The role also manages the significant accounting demands of the US government as it pertains to the Philadelphia Gear marine business, including POC accounting and related forecasting and budgeting of revenue and margins.
