Job Description
Controls Engineer
Setting/Hours: 100% In-Office | First Shift
Join trak group in partnering with a growing client in Cincinnati, Ohio that’s expanding its Manufacturing - South team.
Responsibilities
Design, configure, test, and implement control systems for machinery and conveyors
Manage automation projects from concept through installation and startup
Program and optimize multi-axis Fanuc robots and tooling
Troubleshoot hardware/software issues to minimize downtime
Upgrade and modernize legacy control systems
Specify and source PLCs, drives, and automation components
Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of new systems
Train maintenance staff and support ongoing operations
Requirements
4-year Engineering degree (Electrical, Computer, Software) preferred OR Engineering Technology equivalent
