Coordinator, CSR

Summary: Oversees the process of providing the necessary sterile supplies and equipment to the Operating Room. Responsible for on-time delivery of the case carts and other sterile instruments and equipment items to the Operating Room. Supervises sterile processing as a general support service to the Hospital. Oversees the activities of the Instrument Room and Sterile Processing.

Education: In addition to the skills normally obtained through completion of a High School education.

Licensure: CRCST required

Experience: A minimum of three (3) years’ operating room experience. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of sterilization, aseptic technique, infection control, decontamination and packaging, and medical-surgical patient care supplies.

Working Conditions, Physical Environment and/or Safety Requirements: Stands, sits, walks, stoops, climbs, and lifts up to 50 pounds. Verbal and listening skills required. Exposure to hazardous material ...
