Summary:

Provides coordinated leadership for Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Operations oversight, ensuring effective medication-use systems and delivery of optimal pharmacotherapy. The Clinical Operations Coordinator supports and, when appropriate, oversees the clinical activities of pharmacy specialists to manage service lines within pharmacy operations. This role also supervises pharmacy staff to promote efficiency, high-quality service delivery, customer satisfaction, and compliance with all applicable local, state, federal, and Joint Commission (JCAHO) standards. The Clinical Operations Coordinator leads designated initiatives related to drug program coordination and monitoring, staff development, formulary evaluation and medication selection, and the development of medication management policies.
