Core Physiotherapist, Community Stroke Rehabilitation (CSR) & Assessment, Treatment & Rehabilitation

Position

Part‑time, 0.7 FTE – 28 hours per week, fixed term until May 2027. Remuneration as per PSA Allied Health MECA guidelines.

Role Overview

The Community Stroke Rehabilitation (CSR) Team and the Assessment, Treatment & Rehabilitation team are seeking an experienced physiotherapist to join their teams. You will deliver stroke specialist rehabilitation in clients’ own homes, focusing on community reintegration and promotion of self‑management. The role requires assessment and clinical interventions, including an early supported discharge model of care, within a dynamic interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat a clinically and culturally diverse client group.
• Manage an outpatient caseload of neurological and vestibular rehabilitation, with occasional input to amputee rehabilitation.
