Job Description

Our client, a well-established legal firm based in Edinburgh, is seeking a Corporate Associate to join its Company and Commercial Team. This opportunity is suited to a solicitor with at least 3 years’ PQE, strong commercial awareness, corporate experience, and excellent communication skills, with the ability to undertake some commercial property work.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing a broad range of corporate and commercial matters
Advising on business sales and purchases, and corporate acquisitions and disposals
Handling company law and regulatory matters
Supporting on commercial property transactions, including investment sales, leasing, and development work
Drafting and negotiating legal documentation
Advising on insolvency disposals and bank security work
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Working collaboratively within a busy team
