Cost Accountant Durban

Our client, a global manufacturing concern that has a long history in South Africa and boasts many blue-chip local and international customers, is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced individual to process, extract, analyse, and deliver accurate operational cost and capital cost information within the business.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Acquire and maintain the competence to act as an AX super-user ensuring proper management of daily, month-end and year-end procedures.
• Run the automated monthly management reporting pack for review and finalisation.
• Develop and capture on the ERP system of input modules used in budgeting and forecasting process.
• Ensure adherence to internal control procedures published for ISO and external audit purposes.
• Analyse and reconcile all general ledger accounts and maintain the electronic and hard-copy monthly reporting file.
