Job Opportunity: Cost Accountant

Our client based in Pinetown is looking for a Cost Accountant who will manage expenditure and look for cost-efficient solutions. The Cost Accountant will work with cost accounting systems and develop expense, budget, and supply chain reports for management. The environment is fast-paced.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Collecting and analyzing data about a company’s operational costs
2. Developing and analyzing cost standards
3. Performing account reconciliations
4. Preparing audit reports and presenting their findings to management
5. Advising executives and upper management on appropriate costing based on financial data
6. Dealing with creditors and debtors
7. Supporting other company accountants with invoicing and capital expenditure
