Counselor: RBE/BVE Elementary Job Description Counselor Performance Responsibilities This position will provide a comprehensive counseling program for elementary school students and provide support for students/parents/staff. As such, the counselor will provide a holistic & proactive services which contribute to each student's educational, vocational, & personal/social development. The following is a list of duties that will assigned to the person hired for the Brandon Valley Elementary School Counselor position. Advisement with students/parents individually, in small/large groups on all aspects of educational planning Individual and small group counseling Provide substance abuse recommendations and referrals College/career/personal/social counseling Community Coalition Contact Scheduling Administer Section 504 and TAT meetings Other duties as assigned TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Contract as per Negotiated Agreement with the BVEA.
