Job Description

Court Registry Officer – Invercargill (12‑month Fixed Term, Full Time)

The Court Registry Officer operates at the Invercargill District & High Court, supporting the successful operation of the Court and liaising with members of the judiciary, lawyers and the public.

Responsibilities

  • Case management – ensuring files are accurate and up to date, involving data entry and sound decision‑making.
  • Court taking – opening court sessions in English and Te Reo Māori, working closely with the Judiciary in the courtroom and in chambers and administering court processes.
  • Customer service – interacting with customers on any court related matter via face‑to‑face, phone or email.
