Job Purpose
- Teach creative courses to 16 to 25-year-old learners on Level 2 and Level 3 programmes.
- Help learners, including those with SEND, make progress academically, practically, socially and emotionally.
- Create a safe, supportive, neuro-affirming and trauma-informed learning environment.
Main Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging creative lessons using practical, visual and hands-on teaching methods.
- Adapt lessons to suit different learning needs, interests and support requirements.
- Assess coursework, portfolios and learner progress, giving clear and useful feedback.
- Set and review learner targets, track progress and support EHCP review evidence.
- Work with support staff, parents/carers and wider teams to help learners stay on track.
