Credentialing Specialist (Medical Billing)

Star Billing Solutions is looking for a dedicated and experienced Credentialing Specialist to join our growing Medical Billing team. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with hands‑on experience in provider credentialing, payer enrollments, and healthcare compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and organizational skills along with a solid understanding of medical billing processes. Key Responsibilities Handle provider credentialing & re-credentialing processes Manage Medicare, Medicaid & Commercial Payer enrollments Work on CAQH, PECOS, EFT & ERA enrollments Follow up with insurance companies regarding application status Coordinate with providers for required documentation and updates Requirements Minimum 2 years of Credentialing experience Experience with CAQH, PECOS, Availity & payer portals Strong communication & organizational skills Knowledge of HIPAA compliance Medical Billing industry experience preferred
