Job Description
As a CSSD Technician, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Perform quality checks and quantity counts for instrument sets, loose instruments, and utensils.
- Use appropriate methods and solutions to sort, disassemble, rinse, and disinfect instruments and utensils.
- Operate and troubleshoot cleaning equipment, including Ultrasonic washer, Washer disinfector and cart washer.
- Package the following items using suitable packing materials such as Loose instruments, Instrument sets, Linen and Utensils.
- Properly identify each sterilizer load and maintain records for every cycle.
- Stock, label, and issue sterile supplies.
- Prepare procedure carts according to surgery preference cardex.
- Candidates with HMI / ITE Certificate for Healthcare Support (Sterilization Service) will be an advantage.
