Job Functions:
Perform CT (CAT scan), CTA, and X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by physiciansPrepare and educate patients on imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safetyObtain and review patient medical histories relevant to imaging examsOperate CT scanner equipment and related technology (e.g., power injectors, laser imagers)Conduct fluoroscopy procedures in operating room settingsTransmit imaging studies via PACS and to radiologists (including STAT reads)Maintain accurate logs of procedures, patient data, and imaging statisticsEnsure equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and in working conditionMaintain quality control, safety protocols, and department cleanlinessRespond to emergency situations, including stroke codes, and prioritize urgent imaging ...
