**About this Opportunity**

As manager of custodial services at Friday Harbor Laboratories (FHL) on San Juan Island, you will manage and supervise cleaning and custodial work performed in all buildings on campus (housing units, marine science laboratories, administrative offices, and common use spaces), being ultimately responsible for ensuring that custodial standards are met. Also performs cleaning and custodial work for a substantial portion of the time.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ **Schedule and assign custodial work – 20%**
+ Inspect buildings to determine cleaning needs and job assignments;
+ Set scheduled weekly hours for salaried and intermittent hours for non-salaried custodial employees;
+ Determine seasonal and weekly staffing needs for cleaning buildings;
