Job Description
Responsibilities
- Customer Service Representatives (Patient Care Coordinators) are service-focused professionals who ensure consistent follow-up with patients. They communicate clinical results promptly, assist with coordinating referrals, pre-approvals, and follow-up appointments.
- Handle incoming phone calls, respond to online inquiries, confirm appointments, and make outbound calls for patient retention
- Prepare and send patient letters/reports
- Attach clinical documents to patient charts
- Submit cases to the Department of Health (DOH) via fax or online portal Email medical reports requested by patients
- Efficiently multitask and navigate multiple systems, including electronic medical records, to provide medical information and follow-up support after clinical visits
- Comply with all HIPAA regulations and guidelines
