Cutting master tailor

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Cutting Master Tailor role based in Kuala Lumpur. The Cutting Master Tailor will be responsible for taking accurate body measurements, interpreting design specifications, and drafting and cutting fabric patterns for a variety of garments. The role includes supervising garment construction to ensure correct fit and fall, conducting fittings, and making precise alterations as needed. The Cutting Master Tailor will work closely with customers to understand their preferences, provide style and fabric recommendations, and ensure timely completion of orders. Daily tasks also include maintaining cutting tools and workstations, monitoring fabric usage to reduce waste, and collaborating with other tailoring staff to uphold quality standards.
