**Job Description**

**The Mount Sinai Health System is currently seeking a full-time Cytopathologist to join its Faculty Practice at Mount Sinai Downtown in Union Square.**

The ideal candidates will provide ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration services, particularly head and neck lesions, and play an instrumental role rendering immediate onsite evaluation and diagnostic information to the treating/referring physician in the form of a written pathology report and call back when warranted is required.

**Qualifications**

+ MD or DO from an Accredited University
+ New York Medical License
+ Board Certified by the American Board of Pathology and certificate of qualification in Cytopathology
+ Three to five years of experience in cytopathology with expertise in performing ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration; in particular head and neck lesions
