Job Description
The Dairy Manager oversees the daily operations of the dairy farm ensuring the health and productivity of the herd, quality milk production, efficient use of resources and compliance with all hygiene, safety and environmental regulations. The role requires strong leadership, animal husbandry expertise and operational management skills.
Key Responsibilities-
Herd Management:
- Monitor the health, breeding, feeding and milking of dairy cows.
- Implement and manage herd health programs including vaccinations, treatments and routine vet care.
- Maintain accurate records of milk production, reproduction and health of livestock.
