Job Description
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Agricultural Diploma / Degree
- Minimum 5 years dairy experience
- Pasture management experience
- Computer literate
- Must be good with labour management
- Valid drivers
- Valid passport
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
- Overseeing milk parlour
- Overseeing loading of milk truck
- Supervising calf rearing (vaccination schedule, deworm schedule, weaning, tagging, dehorning, birth records, feed and milk)
- Pasture management
- Overseeing feed mixing for whole herd
- Vaccination and deworming management of herd
- Daily record keeping (milk records, birth records, breeding records)
- AI
- Management of Steam up and Dry off cows)
- Managementand overseeing of daily herd health
