The role | Te tūnga

Within this important role, you will work in frontline teams to build relationships with communities and collect data from respondents through their preferred channels. You will deliver a positive, trusted and seamless respondent experience.

This is a flexible, field‑based role involving regular travel and primarily face‑to‑face interviewing, with some phone and email work as needed. You will engage with communities and households across varied days and hours, including mornings, afternoons/early evenings, and weekends.

The role requires a reasonable level of fitness due to frequent walking and driving. You will work remotely and must be self‑managing, with reliable internet, a full NZ driver’s licence, and a roadworthy, insured vehicle. Equipment, training, and ongoing support are provided to help you succeed.
